Mental Health Counselling Service 

The service

The counselling service aims to support young people who may have or are experiencing negative mental health issues. The counselling service aims to give emotional and psychological support to assist the improvement of young peoples health and wellbeing. The service is free of charge thanks to Children in Need funding.

The service consists of an initial six one hour sessions with a 1-1 fully certified and DBS checked counsellor.

Who is it for?
The service is for anyone aged 10-21 years old and lives or is educated within Worcestershire. If you are experiencing any of the below the counselling service could support you:

  • Anxiety
  • Self Harm
  • Bullying
  • Loss
  • Isolated
  • Stress
  • Relationship issues
  • Alcohol or Drug misuse
  • Depression
  • Exam Stress
  • Domestic Violence

Where does it take place?
The counselling takes place in a variety of places across Worcestershire, from schools, colleges or community centres. We will make it convenient as possible for the young person.

How do I access the service?

Anyone from a professional, parent can refer a young person or over 16’s can refer themselves.
