The YMCA has significant experience of prevention and early intervention work with
16 – 23 year olds, helping them to move successfully into adulthood.
A registered social landlord, we provide a variety of accommodation solutions for people aged 16+ in Gordon Anstis House, Redditch and Henwick Road in Worcester.

Service users reside in a variety of different types of accommodation at our Henwick Road site in Worcester, including rooms with shared bathroom facilities, kitchen and bedsitting rooms with cooking facilities. The campus also includes a gym, football and conference facilities. The YMCA also has access to move on accommodation: two shared flats within a new-build block in the centre of Worcester City and a shared house around a five minute walk from the centre of town.

In Redditch, we offer self-contained flats with support for young people aged 16-24 and move-on accommodation nearby Redditch districts for residents who are ready more independent living. We provide a mixture of shared and self-contained single accommodation all with access to cooking and washing facilities. All accommodation is safe, secure and appropriately located. We provide high security levels providing a safe environment whilst preparing service users for independent living.

Additionally, we offer emergency, short term accommodation to 16 and 17 year olds in Worcester and Redditch in the form of our Safebases. Safebase residents stay with us for a maximum of two weeks and then move on to more appropriate accommodation, which could be our Foyer, looked-after care, other supported accommodation or back into the family home.
