Youth Spotlight – Astwood Bank Carnival

Redditch Youth Club was proud to take part in this year’s Astwood Bank Carnival.

Redditch Youth Club showcased a fantastic superhero and comic book-themed float designed and created by our talented young people.

From colourful decorations to original artwork, the young people poured their creativity, imagination and hard work into
bringing their vision to life. The day was made even more memorable when local MP Chris Bloore joined the club on the float —quickly becoming the target of a friendly water gun battle! On one of the hottest days of the year, we’re sure the cooling spray was much appreciated.

The carnival was a wonderful celebration of community spirit, bringing local people together and providing a fantastic opportunity for Redditch Youth Club. Most importantly, it gave our young people the chance to express themselves, build confidence and proudly represent their community. Events like these reflect our vision of building an inclusive future where everyone can reach their true potential. By creating opportunities for young people to be heard, celebrated and involved in their local community, we’re helping them develop the skills, confidence and connections they need to thrive.
