Youth Spotlight – Charford Showcase

Creativity, Confidence & Community at Charford Youth Club! 

Last night our young people rounded off an incredible 9‑week creative programme with Severn Arts and their Showcase was nothing short of inspiring! From dance and songwriting to DJ‑ing, spray‑painting, filming, editing and sound engineering — they threw themselves into every moment, and it truly showed.

Wearing their custom spray‑painted tees and hats, singing their own original songs, and jumping behind the decks to drop their beats, every young person had their moment to shine. Their pride lit up the room — and their voices said it all:

“I loved learning the decks, I want to learn more about DJ‑ing now.”

“It made me realise I am actually a good songwriter and I should write more.”

Our staff couldn’t be prouder:
