Youth Clubs and Outreach Manager

The role

The position requires a highly motivated and skilled Youth Clubs and Outreach Manager to lead YMCA Worcestershire’s youth club, detached and school holiday provision, working as part of the wider youth and communities management team, including further development of our contracted delivery work in this stream.

The objective of this role is to facilitate development of relationships with young people, based on respect and trust, ensuring they have a safe place to develop their identity and place in society. To ensure that all work is undertaken within the policies and procedures of the Association; so that all staff and young people enjoy a safe environment where they can belong, contribute and thrive.

About you

The role requires an experienced project manager with a wealth of third sector experience, great leadership and record-keeping skills. They also need the ability to work under pressure to set KPIs, manage multiple contracts and expand our club, detached and school holiday youth work offer across Worcestershire’s youth clubs and detached locations. The ideal role holder will ideally have experience of youth club and/or detached youth work management, as well as a passion and experience working in youth development. They will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, commissioners and funders. Whilst primarily an office-based role, this post holder will be required to provide cover for youth workers as well as on-call responsibilities.
