Early Years Practitioner – Level 2 or 3

First Class Nursery

The role

Due to continued growth, First Class Nursery are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner.

You’ll help provide high-quality care and learning for children aged 3 months to 5 years, in a friendly, homely setting known for its low staff turnover and strong parent relationships.

Day to day, you’ll plan engaging activities, support children’s development against the EYFS framework, track progress with your key children, and work closely with the wider team. There’s plenty of room for creativity — think messy play, storytelling, and the occasional dinosaur impression.

Perks include discounted nursery places for staff, a health & wellbeing programme with private medical and dental cover, and a paid day off for your birthday.

About you

You’ll need a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification and a solid understanding of the EYFS framework. Most importantly, you’ll bring genuine warmth and enthusiasm for early years work — someone who’s happy to get involved, get creative, and build real relationships with children, parents and colleagues alike.

A team player with excellent communication skills, a commitment to safeguarding, and a readiness to uphold YMCA Worcestershire’s values will fit right in here.
