YMCA Chaplaincy provides pastoral, emotional and spiritual
support to staff, residents and anyone who has contact
With Worcestershire YMCA. This care and support are open
to all, regardless of faith, background or circumstance and
is confidential and non-judgemental.

Our Chaplains seek to make Christ and His values present
throughout the YMCA by listening to people, helping to
answer questions, providing spiritual guidance, praying for
individuals and leading in various ways throughout our communities.
Jesus Said: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are
carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (Mat 11:28).

This is the ethos of our work, to provide safe spaces where
our clients, young people and residents can be invited to
participate in a journey with God.

“Simply by being present, our chaplains have provided
unique opportunities to open up, discuss and share their
lives.” – James Williams: Christian Spiritual Development Coordinator

If you are interested in joining our team, we would love to
meet with you, get to know you and find out more about
your desire to serve God as a chaplain at the YMCA.
