At First Class Nursery, Kidderminster, the preschool room recently welcomed a visit from local police, much to the delight of the children. The officers engaged them in a discussion about their role in helping the community, even allowing the children to try on uniforms and hats, play with radios, and take a seat in a police car, where they gleefully activated the lights and sirens. Surprisingly, even some of the more reserved children eagerly participated, enjoying every moment. This experience not only enriches our understanding of community helpers but also strengthens our ties with local professionals. As a thoughtful gesture the officers left behind colouring sheets and teddy bears as mementos. First Class eagerly anticipate future visits, with plans to extend their appreciation to the local fire service as well!
