On November 21st, YMCA Worcestershire officially joined forces with the YMCA shop in Great Malvern, fostering a mutually supportive relationship. Our enthusiastic CEO, a devoted charity shop admirer, wasted no time in driving down to personally meet the shop team, generously bringing along a car filled with gift-aided donations. The shop’s manager, Sam, and her dedicated team of volunteers have undertaken a remarkable transformation in recent months, revitalising the space into a bright, tidy, and attractive store. During a behind-the-scenes tour, Annette gained insights into the processing and sorting of donations, contributing to the consistent flow of products onto the shop floor. Always on the lookout for a good deal, she even snagged a bargain in the form of a beautiful necklace during her visit. YMCA Worcestershire is thrilled to have forged this partnership and eagerly anticipates exploring innovative ways to collaborate in the months ahead.
