This month, our empowering managers gathered to reflect on our achievements and focus on the future of YMCA Worcestershire. The meeting was a vibrant celebration of teamwork, innovation, and shared progress. The session was rich with inspiring updates from across the organisation – from substantial fundraising efforts that will help us expand our impact, to a growing social media presence that’s strengthening our connection with the community, every department had meaningful progress to share. We heard how residents are feeling more connected with their homes and taking pride in their spaces—a testament to the care and dedication of our teams. Our nurseries are celebrating ‘Good’ OFSTED ratings, a reflection of the incredible effort and passion poured into creating nurturing environments for young children. Additionally, we’ve seen significant growth within our finance efforts and business development, paving the way for a stronger, more sustainable future. These insights remind us that, while challenges exist, we’re facing them together with determination and creativity. Listening to each team’s experiences reinforced the message that our collective success comes from everyone’s contribution, no matter their role.
