Thanks to a generous donation of 19 Laptops from YMCA Europe and HP Hope Initiative, our service users now have even more ways to connect, learn, and grow. These laptops are helping people access digital platforms for training, employability, and education — from completing assignments to writing CVs or exploring new qualifications.

In our Housing and Support team, laptops have been allocated to both Redditch and Worcester, enabling residents to complete assignments, update CV’s and engage with training in a way that was previously difficult for some.

For our Youth team, laptops are now being used during life skills sessions in schools, giving young people hands-on access to essential digital skills and confidence-building experiences.

Over at Willow Trees, community members can now use laptops for training, job searching, and qualifications, opening doors to personal and professional growth for more people than ever before.

The impact of these laptops extends far beyond individual users. By improving access to technology, we’re helping the organisation as a whole deliver more effective, inclusive, and flexible services. Staff can support service users more efficiently, learning and development opportunities are expanded, and barriers to digital access are reduced across all areas of our work.

A heartfelt thank you to YMCA Europe and HP for making this possible— their generosity is helping us create opportunities that reach far beyond the screen.
