Our supported housing residents from both Redditch and Worcester recently enjoyed a fantastic getaway to Dulverton, staying at the welcoming Dulverton Hostel, located in Exmoor National Park – and what a memorable experience it was.
The trip offered a wonderful mix of relaxation and adventure. Residents spent time at Minehead Beach, enjoying the fresh sea air and coastal views, before taking to the water for paddleboarding and kayaking at nearby Lake Wimbleball. For many, this meant trying something completely new – a challenge that was met with enthusiasm, encouragement, and plenty of smiles.
Beyond the activities themselves, what truly stood out was the sense of connection and personal growth. Residents supported one another, built confidence, and created lasting memories. Experiences like these play a vital role in developing independence, improving wellbeing, and simply remembering how to enjoy the simple joys of life.
Trips like this are only possible thanks to the generosity of our donors and the continued support of our valued partners. Their contributions help us create opportunities that have a lasting, positive impact on the lives of the young people we support.
